It’s a proud day for us at the Top Gear Philippines office: Our former art director, Jaykee Evangelista, has had his artwork featured at the 2022 Icons of Porsche motoring festival in Dubai’s Design District.

Jaykee’s been a mainstay in the local motoring scene for a long while now, and he’s previously produced content for the likes of Mazda Philippines and Concept One Wheels. He also makes some pretty mean shirts, and his doodle game is up there with the best of them.

A lot of his more recent work, though, has been inspired by Porsche—including the art prints featured in this year’s Icons of Porsche festival. Air-cooled Porsches, in particular, are cars that Jaykee holds close to his heart.

Nag-start yung love ko for Porsches during my time with Top Gear Philippines,” Jaykee tells us (awwww). “I was able to attend a Porsche Driving Experience event in Clark, Pampanga. Ayun, hooked na ako after.”

Jaykee added that he was able to build connections with Porsche communities abroad by sharing his artwork on Instagram. By the way, his work is by no means limited to German sports cars. He’s produced some pretty neat pieces inspired by classic off-roaders, JDM legends, and even ramen.

Frankly, these pieces look like they’d fit into any home office space with ease. You can check out Jaykee’s creations at his official Instagram handle @groundworkdesign. He also accepts custom orders and prints, so those of you interested in having these babies framed might want to reach out.
