Crossovers may be growing even more and more popular these days, but the good, old seven-seater MPVs still continue to dominate the market. No surprise there, because it is hard to outsell a people-hauler if you’re a smaller SUV with fewer seats but with a fairly similar price tag.
This is why for our latest Big Test episode, we went with some of the market’s top MPVs (or crossover MPVs, in this case). We took out the Honda BR-V, the Hyundai Stargazer, the Toyota Veloz, and the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross and pitted them against one another in a series of tests.

Actually, this is a two-part episode—forgive us, there’s just too much to fit in one video when you have four models in one test. For the first part, we tested the vehicles’ acceleration, braking, and cargo capacity. We also took a closer look at the tech each one had to offer.

Which vehicle do you think came on top for this first half of The Big Test? We’ll let Anton, Carlo, Jason, and Leandre do all the talking from here on in. Click play on the embedded video below to see more. Oh, and of course, keep an eye out for part two—we’ll put that out soon enough.
