Ah, the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Ain’t she a beaut? The reception to Toyota’s all-new LC300 sibling has been nothing short of spectacular. The carmaker really did hit the mark with this design.

That being said, we actually still want more from Toyota with regard to the next-gen Prado: a pickup variant. We just saw the all-new model in pickup form via YouTube channel Theottle, and it just looks so darn good. We can’t help but wonder if the artist’s onto something here and if Toyota’s actually missing out.

As many of you may know, a pickup in the Land Cruiser stable isn’t exactly new, so this idea isn’t exactly outrageous as it may initially sound. And besides, the artist actually did an amazing job with this render.

Theottle used the all-new Tacoma as the basis for this concept. Through the video, you’ll see just how cleanly the Prado’s body was transformed into a pickup. You won’t see any Photoshop lines anywhere at all, which is pretty sick. It’s also pretty cool that the overall design, including that of the tailgate, was fully retained.

If you want to see the full recreation process, check out the video below. What do you think of this one, readers? Should Toyota just go ahead and build this Prado pickup?
