It appears it’s the year of the ADVs and the sport-tourers at the Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA). Honda has the CB1000GT, Suzuki the SV-7GX, BMW the F450 GS, and now CFMoto with the all-new 1000MT-X.

This off-road-ready bike enters right at the top of the MT roster—joining the 800MT-X and the 450MT, among others—headlining it as the newest flagship offering.

It’s undoubtedly a member of CFMoto’s MT family, bearing the signature styling of the brand’s adventure bikes. It packs a 946cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin that puts out 111hp at 8,500rpm and 105Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. It has a 22.5-liter fuel tank that promises 450km of range on one full tank, and it weighs 199kg when dry.

The 1000MT-X also sits on aerospace-grade 7-series aluminum rims shod in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR rubber. The bike gets an adjustable windshield, adjustable handlebars, heated grips and saddle, a quickshifter, and an eight-inch TFT touchscreen display.

In addition to the flagship ADV, CFMoto has also unveiled the new 675NK GP. This is a special-edition model of the brand’s naked bike, and gets not just a race-inspired livery but also “a host of premium parts.”

The motorcycle manufacturer also gave everybody a glimpse of its upcoming sport bike, the V4 SR-RR prototype. Its 997cc, 90-degree V4 engine puts out over 210hp with the bike itself weighing just below 200kg. “Every component has been engineered to ensure immediate throttle response and maximum control,” says the press release. We won’t be arguing otherwise, seeing as the brand already has extensive experience in Moto2 and Moto3, and it’s inevitable that the technology from R&D there will eventually trickle down to the mass-market models.

Anyway, what do we think, people of the Internet?
