At long last, the 2027 Toyota Hilux is finally here. First seen at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, the new Hilux now makes its way onto dealership floors with diesel models and a fully electric version. Toyota Motor Philippines has given its new pickup a starting price of P1,772,000.
We weren’t quite sure what to think of this Hilux’s design when Toyota first released official images. But we’ll admit, the looks have grown on us (well, most of us), and it does look better in the metal. It wears Toyota’s Cyber Sumo design and still has that tough presence we’ve seen in older versions of the Hilux.

Under the hood of the diesel variants is a familiar 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV engine. It delivers 202hp and 420Nm of torque for the manual-transmission variants, and 500Nm for the automatic-transmission variants. The lineup also retains both 2WD and 4WD setups.

Meanwhile, the Hilux BEV 4x4 features a 59.2kWh lithium-ion battery and dual electric motors. It produces a total of 194hp with 200Nm of torque up front and 269Nm at the rear. This is the first time the Hilux has received any form of electrification in the Philippines (there was a mild-hybrid Hilux in some international markets), so it will be interesting to see where customers would frequently utilize its hauling capacity and fully electric powertrain.
The new Hilux starts at P1.772 million for the 2.8 E 4x2 A/T variant and goes all the way up to P2.611 million for the 2.8 Conquest 4x4 A/T. The BEV 4x4, meanwhile, goes for P2,99 million. You can check out the full price list below.
