The Ford Everest Wildtrak has mysteriously disappeared from the brand’s Philippine website, and you can color us surprised. The rugged SUV was reintroduced to the local market less than a year ago, in September 2025. Back then, it brought another 4WD option to the Everest stable and became the de facto top-of-the-line variant.

However, it looks like Ford Philippines has discontinued the Everest Wildtrak variants, leaving the Sport, Trend, and Titanium trims. We reached out to representatives of the Blue Oval for an official statement, but no response has been given at the time of writing.

This ultimately begs the question: Is Ford preparing to replace the Wildtrak with something else? The American carmaker will not be participating in this year’s Philippine International Motor Show, but big things could still be on the horizon.

Recently, the Land Transportation Office published homologation papers for a Platinum version of the Everest, and it could serve as a valiant replacement for the Wildtrak. While it doesn’t have the rugged styling, it does feature Ford’s 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, with 267hp and 600Nm of torque on tap.

It also gets a full-time 4WD system, which no local Everests have had before. Interestingly, when this setup debuted in Australia, it was on an Everest Wildtrak. With premium styling to boot, the Everest Platinum could replace the Titanium variants as well, and effectively reserve the V6 for shoppers looking at top-of-the-line SUVs.

However, this all remains speculation until the official word comes in. Make sure to keep up with Top Gear Philippines to get the latest updates.
