After 47 days of non-stop driving, the hybrid Toyota Veloz has completed its 7,000km journey across Indonesia. The driving was done in turns, ensuring the electrified MPV never stopped running.
It all started at the Mandalika Circuit in Lombok on December 2, 2025. The Veloz eventually reached Bali and Jakarta, as it headed to its ultimate destination in North Sumatra, 7,000km away. At the time of writing, Toyota Indonesia has not disclosed the final fuel economy achieved by the Veloz.

In 47 days, it crossed several other provinces and cities, encountering city streets, mountain passes, and other various road conditions. At select points along the drive, Veloz owners met up to see the traveling MPV. There were also scheduled visits at dealerships throughout the country.

In case you missed it, the hybrid Veloz was first seen in Indonesia in November 2025. It debuted with a 1.5-liter gasoline mill and a single electric motor with a lithium-ion battery. Mated to an E-CVT, it interestingly shares the same engine as the recently launched Ativ hybrid sedan. This would put its combined power output at 109hp.

It is scheduled to make its next appearance at the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show in February. There, the full prices and specs are expected to be revealed, along with an official release to the Indonesian market.
For those curious if the hybrid Veloz will enter the Philippines, Toyota Indonesia offices have not disclosed if it will receive a regional launch. However, speculation should clear up once the motor show kicks off next month.
