Toyota Motor Philippines started off the week with a bang by sharing photos of the all-new Toyota RAV4 with us members of the media. After rumors and eventually confirmation that the next-gen model is on its way, the carmaker has now brought it out on display at the Manila Golf and Country Club.
The all-new RAV4 is a hole-in-one prize at the 54th Golden Tee golf tournament, and we just so happened to have swung (pun intended) by the area, so we took the chance to take a closer look at the new crossover.

It looks as fresh as advertised in the metal. The front fascia borrows grille elements from the Corolla Cross and headlight design cues from the Camry. While the outgoing model still looks decent in 2026, this new-look RAV4 looks more at home in Toyota’s electrified lineup.

From the sides, you see the new stylish alloy wheels with the two-tone finish and quirky-looking spokes. Black plastic claddings make the fender flares and the sides look beefy. At the rear, you’ll find the new headlights with the modern, intricate design. There are gloss black panels on the tailgate and the spoiler, and frankly, it adds to the crossover’s classy vibe.

The inside isn’t flashy at all, but it does look nice to be in. A mix of hard plastics, fabrics, and leather adorn the dark-themed cabin. The steering wheel and the pair of big screens are all new, and they give you a sense that this is, in fact, a next-generation model.
The center console is compact and uncluttered, with a lack of a gearshift lever protruding upward in the middle. Where the twin knobs were in the old model, you’ll now find two squarish buttons with more controls right below. We haven’t the specs of this one yet, but we do see that the controls here are for the drive modes and parking aids. There’s a pair of 45W USB-C ports as well. Two small cubbies serve as storage here up front.
Amenities come aplenty here, as we also spot controls for Toyota Safety Sense features. The bezels on the pair of big screens inside are still big, but their UI are entirely new. The head unit also appears to be paired with a JBL audio setup here, so we’re guessing what we’re looking at is the top-spec variant.
There’s a sunroof up top, and at the rear is what we assume is a tonneau cover that comes as standard. No sixth and seventh seats here, though, folks.

As for the powertrain options and the pricing, we’ll also have to wait before we get word on those. All we know is that in markets where it’s available, the RAV4 can be had with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid setup with a 1.09kWh battery powering the pair of motors. Said motors put out a total of 236hp.
We also know that Toyota plans to unveil this in the first half of 2026. Maybe at the Philippine International Motor Show later this year? Let’s wait and see, then.
