Our editorial assistant Elaine Lara is in Bangkok right now as a guest of Ford Philippines for the exclusive unveiling of the updated Ranger pickup. If you've read her story and still can't get enough of the new Ranger, may we suggest that you watch this 90-second video that Ford Asia-Pacific has released. This short clip details the changes done to the American carmaker's pickup.
The most obvious change is the new front fascia, with its hexagonal grille, angular headlight design, and chiseled hood. Inside, the new dashboard sports a configurable, dual-screen instrument cluster that flanka a single analog speedometer. The eight-inch touchscreen at the top of the center cluster serves not only as the control screen for the infortainment system, but also as the display for the rear-view camera when reversing. As for the cargo bed, the Ranger now has integrated lighting and a compartmentalized load box.
It looks like it's going to be a busy year for the pickup truck market. Anyway, watch the Ford Ranger video below.
