Servicing your Honda vehicle just got easier with Honda Cars Philippines’ (HCPI) newest tool: the Body and Paint Estimation Tool. HCPI states that its new cost estimation instrument should standardize and streamline the process for bodywork quotations.
This should make filing insurance claims faster, too, as the tool is designed to quickly produce a reliable and thorough cost estimate for your vehicle. Overall, the Body and Paint Estimation Tool adds another level of verification and transparency to the cost of service. Drivers and car owners should be relieved to know that they won’t be getting overcharged at official Honda dealerships in the Philippines.

In line with the release of this new tool, HCPI also announced that most Honda service centers will be using water-based paint starting this year. Water-based paint is generally safer for the environment and more durable for the vehicle, as opposed to traditional acrylic polyurethane.

By 2050, Honda aims to have zero environmental impact across its global operations. The adoption of water-based paint is a strong step toward this goal. And with the new estimation tool, the correct amount of materials and paint will be allocated and quoted for customers all over the Philippines. Small measures like these are crucial to achieving global sustainability targets.
HCPI is also in the process of launching the Honda HR-V e:HEV, its hybrid crossover that reduces carbon emissions in style. Once released, the HR-V will join the Civic RS, and the CR-V in HCPI’s expanding hybrid lineup—one that’s been gaining popularity over the past couple of years. It seems Honda drivers are also doing their part to help the planet.
