This is the new Toyota GR GT, a Gazoo Racing-badged supercar. It’s refreshingly simple, with a V8 up front, power going to the back, just a smidge of electrical assistance, and priced to compete with the Mercedes-AMG GT and Porsche 911 GT3. It’s also situated next to a proper GT3 race car version with massive wings and slick tires.
And based on the same architecture will be a plusher, posher all-electric Lexus version… and they’re going to call it the LFA. Controversial.
