Overlanding has gained a fair bit of traction over the years, and no vehicle is off limits to getting that treatment. At this year’s Manila International Auto Show, Nissan and Overland Kings set out to prove that.
The two brands recently collaborated to transform the Urvan into an outdoor adventure vehicle. The result is a van that we'd like to go camping in.

So, what goodies did Overland Kings give the Nissan Urvan? Immediately apparent is the two-tone color scheme that helps it pop out from the campsite. Speaking of things that pop out, the roof-mounted tent is good enough for a weekend out. PIAA driving lights are also fitted at the front, along with all-terrain tires and Black Rhino wheels.

Of course, it’s not just the outside that gets a whole host of mods. Inside, the vast cabin gets an overhaul with most seats taken out. In its place is a mini dining area where the second and third row used to be and a living area over at the back. Power outlets are strewn all over the interior to keep the happy campers charged and connected while on the go. The grey interior also gets reupholstered to a light shade of beige for an airier feel.

Space and storage isn’t a problem in the Overland Kings Nissan Urvan. For starters, you already have the vast space that the van already offers in the first place, while the high roof means almost everyone can move around without much fuss. Overhead storage bins have been fitted to place those smaller and loose items properly.
The Urvan isn’t` the only Nissan model that gets the Overland Kings treatment. The Terra, Navara, and Kicks are also outfitted with camping gear during the show. If you want to see these live, these will be on display just outside the entrance of the Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center from April 4 to April 7, 2024.
