At first glance, the vehicle you see before you is a pre-facelift Toyota Land Cruiser J60. Four-strip grille design, rounded headlights, and rectangular blinkers—pretty standard stuff, right? Well, not exactly.
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known as internet celebrity PewDiePie, didn’t buy an ’80s Land Cruiser upon recently moving to Japan. It’s probably a J100 that’s undergone a face transplant with its older counterpart.

Probably. See, if you read the caption, things become slightly more confusing. Kjellberg refers to his new ride as a “Toyota 100 but completely redone.” Clearly, the man isn’t too familiar with model names, as he could be referring to anything from a newer-generation Land Cruiser to the T100 full-size pickup the US and Canada got in the ’90s. For obvious reasons, the Corolla E100 isn’t in the running here.
Us? We’re sticking with the J100 as the number one suspect—at least based on the size of the face and, well, that it makes much more sense to fit the J60’s face onto an SUV.
Whoever was responsible for the mod—maybe it’s a Renoca job?—should be applauded as he’s done a bang-up job, by the way. The end result is incredibly clean. Clean enough, in fact, that you can barely tell the thing underwent a face swap.
Anyway, what do you think Pewds’s new ride is? Let us know in the comments.
