Yes, the second-generation Ford Territory has already been updated just two years after its introduction to the Philippine market. But this isn’t some perfunctory midlife facelift—the visual changes are very much apparent, and the changes under the hood are even more significant.
This marks the electrification not just of the Territory line in our country, but also of the Ford Philippines stable. The Territory Hybrid is the American carmaker’s first electrified offering on our shores, and our market is the first in the world to get this particular hybrid powertrain for this compact crossover.
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid.
Variants and prices

With this launch, the Ford Territory now becomes an exclusively hybrid offering in the local market. The Territory Hybrid comes in two variants:

Exterior

The Territory Hybrid is slightly longer than the pre-facelift model at 4,685mm long (+55mm), but it remains 1,935mm wide and 1,706mm tall. Its round clearance is 185mm (-5mm), while the wheelbase is 2,726mm.
The horizontal elements on the front grille and lighting elements make this version of the compact crossover appear wider than the previous one. The overall appearance is brawnier and more mature, as opposed to the older model’s sportier vibe. On both ends, the bumpers have been simplified, with the rear losing the matte-silver accents.

The Trend is fitted with 18-inch rims and 235/55 rubber, while the Titanium X rides on slightly bigger 19-inch wheels wrapped with 235/50 tires. The top spec also swaps out the base version’s body-color door handles for a chrome set.
Interior

A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster graces the cockpit of the Titanium X, while the Trend comes with a smaller seven-inch digital interface. The 12-inch infotainment touchscreen in the middle comes standard with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as well as voice recognition, and audio output is powered by the Arkamys SoundStage system that pumps out sound via six or eight speakers, depending on the variant you go for.
Most settings are changed within the touchscreen, but a row of shortcut buttons for the A/C does allow for quick adjustments of fan speed. At least the improved touchscreen interface now lets you access the controls for the dual-zone A/C without exiting the phone projection.

The range-topper features a panoramic moonroof to fill the cabin with natural light, although you can also choose from the available ambient lighting colors to liven up the cabin if that’s your thing. The seats are finished in classy two-tone leather, and there’s even front seat ventilation and 10-way power adjustment for the driver.
Front occupants can charge their gadgets via USB-A and USB-C, while rear passengers get a pair of USB-C ports. The Titanium X features a wireless charger for added convenience.
Powertrain and specs

We thought we’d be getting the plug-in hybrid version of the Territory with this updated model here, but instead, it’s an all-new hybrid powertrain that lands on our market—and as we’ve said earlier, we’re the first in the world to get it.
Both variants of the crossover come with a 1.5-liter engine paired with a two-speed hybrid transmission, an electric motor, and a 1.8kWh lithium-ion NCM battery. This ‘dedicated’ hybrid powertrain, as Ford calls it, allows the Territory to run on electric power or a combination of electric and gasoline propulsion, depending on battery charge and driving conditions.

The engine alone produces 148hp and 230Nm; peak motor output, meanwhile, is 215hp and 315Nm of torque. Ford claims 0-100kph in 8.5sec, and a combined fuel-economy figure of 19.6km/L.
The three available driving modes are Eco, Normal, and Sport, and the power steering can also be switched between Comfort, Normal, and Sport either via the selected drive mode or manually, through the screen.
Extra features

Standard safety and driver-assistance features for the Trend include four airbags, cruise control, stability and traction control, hill-launch assist and hill-descent control, rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera with split-view function. The Titanium X tops this with two additional airbags and advanced driver aids: adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, forward-collision and lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alert, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, auto high beam, and front parking sensors.
FordPass Connect is another new feature, allowing access to vehicle information and enabling limited vehicle control via the FordPass app on a mobile phone. For instance, the car may be locked or unlocked, and the engine may be started remotely. Health alerts will also be pushed via the app.

Other extras in the Titanium X are a PM2.5 filter, a hands-free power tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, and power-folding heated side mirrors. The Territory Hybrid will also come with a free illuminated logo and a ‘Hybrid’ decal to help differentiate it from non-hybrid models.
Ford Philippines has announced some exclusive offers to add even more value to its electrified compact crossover during the launch period from August 8 to 10. Reservations made at select launch locations—BGC Amphitheater, Marquee Mall Pampanga, Ayala Center Cebu, and SM Ecoland Davao—can get cash discounts of at least P10,000 plus a free three-year scheduled service plan. Those who reserve at BGC Amphitheater have a chance to get up to P100,000 in cash discounts.
