A quick browse through the Maxlider Brothers Customs website will make one thing apparent: This garage knows what to do with the Ford Bronco. It has for quite some time, too, with a resume that boasts restoring, selling, and customizing previous-generation Broncos, and an Instagram profile that’s chock-full of clean-looking examples.
That said, there’s no doubt these guys immediately got busy thinking of what to do with the all-new Bronco when it dropped last month. Chances are they have quite a few builds planned already, and one of these is the Maxlider Ford Bronco Midnight Edition.
Actual details surrounding the build are still scarce, with Maxlider Motors only announcing that it is now accepting $500 (P24,500) deposits for the vehicle and that it will be available in both four- and two-door form with an aftermarket suspension setup. It’s also promising that this thing, like the rest of its upcoming Bronco builds, will be both powerful and intimidating. We believe it.
Frankly, we don’t need much more than the image featured in this article to tell this is the stealthiest take on the all-new Bronco yet. It comes in mostly black, has massive wheels, a suspension that’s been lifted considerably, and a clean exterior. The render doesn’t appear to have a roof, though it isn’t made known whether it’ll have a removable one or come without it completely.
No performance details at the moment, but the stock Ford Bronco gets either a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with 310hp and 542Nm, or a 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost capable of 270hp and 420Nm. Its Sport variant, meanwhile, comes packing a 2.0-liter EcoBoost that produces 245hp and 372Nm, or a 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 181hp and 257Nm.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for when this thing is pictured in the metal. So, do you like the Bronco in black?
