The Suzuki Jimny is easily one of the most playful-looking off-roaders available. That said, its appearance might not appeal to buyers looking for a more serious demeanor.

Thankfully, this is a dilemma that can easily be remedied with a fresh coat of paint and a few aesthetic tweaks—as Suzuki is showing with the release of the mini SUV’s new Horizon Edition variant in Europe.

What’s new here, then? Well, for starters, the Jimny Horizon Edition boasts a burly new front bumper that boasts a honeycomb surface. Speaking of honeycomb, the grille gets this treatment, too, and is now surrounded by body-colored paint. Oh, and this thing runs on rugged-looking steel wheels as well.

Other alterations include a new underbody guard up front, new side skirts, mud flaps, and a spare wheel cover that features the Suzuki logo. Wrapping the package off is a grey exterior coat and retro-ish side decals in black.

No changes to the vehicle’s performance, so this still runs on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission and the vehicle’s signature off-road prowess.

Overall, the Horizon Edition treatment gives the Suzuki Jimny a relatively stealthier overall package. Price is set at €32,340 (just over P2 million), and supply is limited to just 900 units. Worth it? You tell us.
