When we first got wind of a facelift for the Toyota Corolla Cross GR-S in the Thai market, we knew it was only a matter of time before the refresh would land on our shores. Fast-forward a month later, and we finally have it here in the metal.
Like we previously noted in an earlier report, this round of updates is all about looks. Up front, the updated front grille features a honeycomb pattern consistent with other Corolla Cross trim levels (as well as other vehicles in Toyota’s stable). Some new garnish elements have also been finished in gunmetal, which matches the crossover’s sporty vibe. The cherry on top is that sweet new GR-S badge that the facelifted model wears on the bottom right of the grille.
The rear end of the vehicle also receives the same gunmetal elements found on the front. Additionally, the Corolla Cross lettering now comes in black, replacing the previous standard silver color. It makes a bolder statement for sure, especially with the colorways on offer.

The interior also gets some attention in this facelift. The headrests for the front seats now have the GR logo embroidered into them. Toyota has also equipped the Corolla Cross GR-S with red seatbelts. Along with the exterior changes to the vehicle, the minor tweaks here enhance the car’s striking, race-inspired presence.
The Corolla Cross GR-S is priced at P1,947,000 for the Platinum White Pearl Mica/Attitude Black Mica two-tone colorway. For the Emotional Red/Attitude Black Mica paint job, you need to pay an extra P5,000, bringing the price up to P1,952,000.
