Toyota has released yet another commemorative variant of the Corolla. In case you missed it, 2026 marks the 60th year of the famed nameplate, and since the celebration kicked off we’ve seen special-edition releases of the sedan, touring, and crossover bodies.
More recently, the Japanese carmaker extended the celebration to the Corolla Sport hatchback. The variant is officially called the Z Elegance, a continuation of the Z Adventure title of the Corolla Cross.
Like it, the Corolla Sport Z Elegance dons the C-shaped insignia on its fascia, with a 60th anniversary badge on its front fender flares. It is also finished in a unique two-tone paint job, with a mustard-colored body and a blacked-out roof.

Inside, the hatchback gets a new synthetic leather material on its dashboard, while select surfaces get a new “smoked silver” trim. Toyota also added a neat 60th anniversary badge on the dash.
Meanwhile, the upholstery gets a two-tone pattern, but instead of mustard, the black fabric is paired with a beige hue Toyota calls “Chateau.” The cockpit and other areas within the cabin remain as is, but the pedals were redone in aluminum.
Interestingly, now that the Corolla Sport Z Elegance has been launched, all variants are now included in the 60th-anniversary lineup—save for one, the GR Corolla. While Toyota has not confirmed if the performance-focused model will get a celebratory edition, it does sound like a no-brainer.
Like the other releases, it will likely get no power upgrades, but rather some aesthetic additions. Either way, we wouldn’t mind a new color or a fresher cabin on Toyota’s hot hatch.
