It’s been a while since both gasoline and diesel had a price decrease in the same week, but finally, that time has come again.
For the week of April 30 to May 6, 2024, gasoline prices will go down by P0.25 per liter, after five consecutive weeks of price hikes. Diesel prices, meanwhile, will decrease by P0.45 per liter, and kerosene will have a price rollback of P0.90 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P10/L and P5.60/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Kerosene prices, meanwhile, will have increased by P0.25/L since the start of the year.
If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
