The fuel price hikes are set to continue this week, unfortunately, and owners of gasoline-powered vehicles will have to deal with a bigger increase.
For the period of July 9 to 15, 2024, gasoline prices will go up by P1.60 per liter, which is substantially higher than last week’s P0.95/L hike. Diesel prices will also increase by another P0.65 per liter, same as last week. Finally, kerosene will have a price hike of P0.60 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P10.85/L and P9.05/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Meanwhile, kerosene prices will have had a net increase of P2.35/L since the start of the year.
If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
