October isn’t off to a good start as far as fuel prices are concerned: Continuing from last week’s price hikes, fuel prices will again go up this week.
For the period of October 1 to 7, 2024, gasoline prices will go up by P0.45 per liter, which is at least lower than the previous P1.10/L uptick. Diesel prices will also increase by P0.90 per liter, a considerable jump over last week’s P0.20/L rise. Finally, kerosene will have a price hike of P0.30 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P6.30/L and P2.85/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Meanwhile, kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P6.05/L since the start of the year.
