A PSA to motorists out there: The rollbacks end this week, so if you’re running low on fuel, you’ll want to top up before this round of price changes is implemented.
For the period of September 24 to 30, 2024, gasoline prices will go up by P1.10 per liter, following two consecutive weeks of rollbacks. Diesel prices will also increase, but by a much smaller P0.20 per liter. There will be no price change for kerosene.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P5.95/L and P1.95/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Meanwhile, kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P6.35/L since the start of the year.
If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
