We have good news: Fuel price rollbacks are continuing for the coming week, and the adjustments are not insubstantial.

For the period of September 17 to 23, 2024, gasoline prices will again go down by P1 per liter, after a P1.55/L rollback last week. Diesel prices will also decrease by another P1.30 per liter, same as last week. Finally, kerosene will have a price rollback of P1.65 per liter

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P4.85/L and P1.75/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Meanwhile, kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P6.35/L since the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work. Is your car consuming more fuel than usual? Here’s one thing to check. While we’re at it, here are the signs your fuel injectors could be failing.
