It seems luxury automotive brands Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, and Bentley are also back in business in the Philippines, as PGA Cars has just announced that it has resumed operations across the country.
Along with the reopening of its showrooms and service centers, PGA Cars will also begin strict implementation of some safety measures inside all facilities. For starters, clients who wish to visit showrooms and customers who need to have their vehicles serviced will only be accepted by appointment.
Upon reaching the dealership, customers must wear face masks, go through temperature checks and footbath disinfection, wash their hands, accomplish health forms, and observe proper physical distancing. The management will ensure that all vehicles received for servicing or released for delivery will be properly disinfected. Facilities—showrooms and service areas included—will also be regularly sanitized.
“Observed in all these resumption of operations are new sanitation and health safety protocols that adhere—if not surpass—those mandated by national governments,” the company’s statement reads.
Other car brands such as Mitsubishi, Honda, Nissan, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, and MG have also reopened several dealerships over the weekend. You can read more on those—as well as on other updates about this ongoing COVID-19 crisis—by checking out our previous stories here.
