December isn’t off to the happiest of starts—at least not for the owners of gasoline-powered vehicles.
From December 3 to 9, 2024, gasoline prices will increase again by P0.90 per liter, adding to last week’s P1.15/L increase. Diesel prices, meanwhile, will go down by a scant P0.20 per liter. Finally, kerosene will have a price rollback of P0.40 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P11.35/L and P9.55/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2024. Meanwhile, kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P1.90/L since the start of the year.
If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
