A long weekend is nearing, and if that spells road trip for you and your loved ones, then you’ll want to refuel soon. If you drive a gasoline-powered vehicle, then you’ll want to load up very soon, as we’ll be seeing an increase this week. If your people carrier runs on diesel, then it’ll be best to wait until August 19, as prices will go down once again.
Specifically, from August 19 to 25, 2025, gasoline prices will go up by P0.60 per liter, after last week’s P0.40/L decrease. On the other hand, diesel prices will go down by another substantial P0.80 per liter, after last week’s P1.50/L relief. Finally, kerosene will have a second consecutive rollback of P0.90 per liter.
