Toyota Motor Philippines certainly enjoyed a good 2025, ending the year with record sales and production, 5.2% year-on-year growth in sales, and 46.7% market share. The Japanese carmaker sold a combined 229,447 units of Toyota and Lexus models, making our country the 10th biggest market for Toyota globally.

We already told you that the Vios, the Avanza, and the Hilux were the brand’s top sellers in the Philippines, pulling in 76,334 units or exactly one-third of the total sales. TMP has now given us the unit sales per model in Toyota’s local lineup, giving us better insight into buyer preferences in 2025.

Toyota Wigo Philippines

Coming in fourth and fifth are the Hiace (20,526 units) and the Wigo (19,063 units), respectively. The Innova appears farther down the list than we expected: At eighth place with 16,112 units, it was outsold by the Raize (17,965 units) and the Tamaraw (17,542 units), the latter making the top 10 in only its first full year on sale.

The Veloz is next with 13,745 units, beating the Fortuner, which completes the top 10 with 13,089 units. The Zenix comes next with 7,187 units—that’s less than half of the Innova’s sales and less than a third of the Avanza’s. Toyota’s more affordable seven-seaters, then, look to be the choice of buyers who need people-moving and cargo-carrying capacity, and those who need multiple-passenger transport flocked to the Hiace. The Fortuner could be lower in the rankings on account of its age and price tag.

Toyota Innova

Toyota Yaris Cross

For small crossovers, the more affordable Raize outdid the Yaris Cross (5,950 units) and the Corolla Cross (4,793 units) in 12th and 13th, respectively. We know TMP has been giving these electrified models a push since they appeared quite frequently in the carmaker’s sales promos last year.

Lexus as a brand (1,852 units) is included on the list at 17th, its top sellers being the NX, the RX, and the LM. The other models that outsold it apart from the ones already mentioned above are the Liteace (3,331 units), the Land Cruiser 300 (3,134 units), and the Rush (3,111 units). It bears repeating that as of December 2024, we have the second largest allocation of Land Cruisers in the world, second only to the Middle East. The Alphard, often imitated but never truly equaled, comes close behind Lexus with 1,663 units.

Toyota Ativ 2026

We finally come to the next sedan on the list: the Ativ, launched only in October, already with 1,027 units. This model finally gives Toyota’s subcompact sedan an electrified variant, but it’s still available with 1.3- and 1.5-liter naturally aspirated options. It’ll be interesting to see how it affects the 2026 sales of the Vios, which soldiers on with previous-gen styling, a 1.3-liter gasoline engine, and a lower point of entry ranging from P780,000 to P908,000.

Another model to watch is the RAV4, the all-new generation of which is one of the confirmed models arriving on our shores this year. The current model sold 947 units in 2025—more than the Land Cruiser Prado’s 887 units.

Toytota Camry

Toyota GR Yaris

The last model on the list to breach 500 unit sales is the all-new Camry. The hybrid midsize sedan was very quietly launched and didn’t receive a significant marketing push, but it still moved 504 units. This is one of the few options you have left (the majority are from premium carmakers) if you’re shopping for a sedan in the D-segment. The Corolla, Toyota’s historical bestseller, sold 204 units, outdone by the Coaster’s 236 units.

We finally reach the GR cars, all lined up as a team headed by the GR Yaris, with 144 units. The facelifted model launched in March 2025 also brought in an automatic option. After the rally-bred hot hatch comes the GR86 (79 units) and the GR Supra (11 units). And during its launch month in December, the GR Corolla already sold two units.

Toyota bZ4X

Finally, Toyota’s first fully-electric local offering, the Japan-sourced bZ4X, contributed two units, while the Yaris hatchback completes the list with one lone unit sold.

TMP’s lineup in 2026 will change with the introduction of the next-gen RAV4, the all-new Hilux, the fully-electric Urban Cruiser, the Land Cruiser 300 HEV, and the Land Cruiser FJ. We’ll revisit these rankings a year from now and see how these models and 2025’s late launches will have affected the carmaker’s model sales. In the meantime, here’s the full 2025 sales breakdown:
