Sorry, we won’t see a price rollback this week just yet—this month has only brought rising fuel prices, and that doesn’t look about to change as September draws to a close.

For the period of September 23 to 29, 2025, gasoline prices are rising yet again by P1 per liter versus the last P0.10/L increase. Diesel prices are also increasing by P0.80 per liter, adding to the previous P0.50/L uptick. Finally, kerosene will have a price hike of P1 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P14.90/L and P16.15/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2025. Meanwhile, kerosene will have had an overall increase of P4.55/L for the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work. Is your car consuming more fuel than usual? Here’s one thing to check. While we’re at it, here are the signs your fuel injectors could be failing.
